Our very own Maddie Hinds recently competed at the World Para Swimming Open Water Cup in Sardinia. Maddie represented Swimming Australia with distinction 💚💛

Maddie finished 2nd to Sweden’s Pernillia Lindberg who won her third consecutive Championship 🥈🏆💚💛

Maddie did a fantastic job promoting Team Australia, whilst also receiving the Award as the swimmer of the Meet for the way she conducted herself amongst her fellow athletes, coaches, staff and dignitaries.

We wish to thank World Para Swimming for running an outstanding and well organised event, we would also like to show our appreciation to Swimming Australia for the opportunity to represent the greatest country in the world 💛💚

Maddie is now focussed on the 2025 Virtus World Swimming Championships to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 20-30 August. We can’t wait to see where Maddie & Coach Matt go from here!!
